Steady Hurricanes leave Jaguars on the ropes

first_img̶ Singh misses tonDefending Champs Guyana Jaguars endured a tough third day as they clawed their way back into the game but only marginally as they trail the Leeward Islands Hurricanes by 153 runs heading into the final day of the 2017/18 Cricket West Indies (CWI)/ Digicel Regional 4-Day tournament.Played at the Warner Park Ground, St Kitts, Guyana were 53-2 from 41 overs batting a second time when stumps were drawn on the penultimate day with captain Leon Johnson on 27 not out and night-watchman Veerasammy Permaul unbeaten on six. Openers Tagenarine Chanderpaul (16) and Chandrapaul Hemraj (00) were the batsmen to be dismissed by Nkrumah Bonner (1-6) and Mervin Mathew (1-8), respectively. After the Hurricanes racked up an imposing 412-9 declared, the champions folded in their first innings for 206 with centurion from the last match Vishaul Singh narrowly missing out on his eighth First Class hundred after being left stranded on 97, as his teammates crumbled around him.All-rounder Sherfane Rutherford had the next best score of 32, followed by Hemraj with 23 as Terance Ward (4-48), Jeremiah Louis (2-58) and Rakeem Cornwall (2-62) did the bulk of the damage bowling for the Hurricanes. With the huge lead on first innings of 2016, the Hurricanes maintained their strangle hold by asking the Jaguars to bat again with 41 over still available in the day’s play.Things were not going to get better for the visitors as the Hurricane look to finish off the Jaguars for the third consecutive time by removing out-of-sorts Jaguars openers in the second innings.Today’s final day action bowls off at 10:00h.last_img read more

While Mr. P may not have biological tots, he and the Mrs. serve as surrogate parents for the Little Green Men aliens from the Claw machine. They call him Daddy at the end of Toy Story 3, so Daddy he is. Families come in many forms, mashed, baked, gratin, French fried, and plastic.“I’m a married spud, I’m a married spud…” – Mr. Potato HeadWho are your favorite Disney dads?
